As we head towards brighter days and better weather, why not update your sunglasses for something new and on trend.
Eyewear trends are changing alongside fashion trends, with many different glasses and sunglasses featured on the catwalks to accompany an outfit. We have picked out our 4 favourite trends for the Summer ahead.
Oversized 70’s
We’ve seen a mix of nostalgic styles coming back in fashion such as 90’s micro-sunglasses last year. This year’s trend is oversized, 70’s inspired sunglasses with big square frames. Gucci is a brand that has embodied this trend in their latest clothing and eyewear collections.
Statement
Statement sunglasses are the easiest way to add style and personality to your look. Whether you’re after a classic black frame in a bold style or something bright and colourful, there are many ways to make a statement. Etnia Barcelona’s latest release of sunglasses for their 20th anniversary are statement pieces. In a range of quirky shapes, colour combinations, their checkerboard inspired sunglasses are definitely a statement piece.
Classic
You can never go wrong with those classic styles. Wayfarers, aviators, round eye sunglasses are staples in your sunglasses collections. Ray-Ban are the go-to for this classic style and have been producing these styles for over 80 years.
Cat Eye
Cat eye glasses are flattering for all face shapes, and a very popular style. For the upcoming season this trend has had a revamp with more exaggerated cat eye shapes and bolder designs and colours. One eyewear brand who is on trend, whilst being eco friendly is Eco. Their eyewear collection features many designs including a more modern cat eye style frame.
